Mr. Sivasankar Vethanayakam

Founder & Design Director, Space Lumens

Mr. Sivasankar holds a master’s degree in Architectural Lighting and Design Management from Hochschule of Wismar, Germany.

Prior to establishing Space Lumens, Sivasankar contributed to over 100 projects across India, providing design and consulting services for diverse segments such as Hospitality, Retail, Commercial, and Residential Outdoor spaces, including facades and landscapes.

His valuable assets include global exposure, problem- solving approaches & design-oriented thought process.

As an associate member of ICOMOS, he is dedicated to raising awareness about the significance of lighting in heritage projects.

Actively involved in the Virtual Lighting Design Community (VLDC), Mr. Sivasankar collaborates with brands and designers globally, fostering valuable associations and networks.

His expertise is further acknowledged through his certification as a European Lighting Expert (ELE) for Interior & Exterior Lighting.
